PLNs-What are they?

A personal learning network is a resourceful asset that places all learning resources in one organized page. It quickly takes users to their website with one click. This resourceful tool is great for educators because it helps us navigate to our most used sites with ease. So far I have added itunesU, TeacherTube, and Blogger. Personal Learing Networks are formed by adding tiles in symbaloo. The tiles are pictured, saved links to websties that open once their clicked on. These websites help teachers to further educate themselves and their students. Furthermore, personal learning networks can be used to connect with people all over the world. This valuable tool can connect you with other educators who are exploring how useful technology can be used in education. I believe this website will be a valuable tool for students because it helps keep all their resources organized on a single, user-friendly page. I will continue to expand my PLN by adding new websites and connecting with new people that will help me advance the cause of incorporating education inside the classroom.

  1. People are the central core of any PLN. What did you read and/or watch?
